The real ones, answered properly.
I get the same questions from most households. Here they are, with proper answers.
Packages start from $350 per cook. There are three tiers — a smaller cook for couples or individuals, a mid-size for families of two to four, and a full feast for larger households or anyone who wants a well-stocked freezer. Every package includes menu planning, the full cook, labelling, and the kitchen left spotless. Ingredients are additional at cost — no markup. Get in touch and we'll find the right fit for your household.
No. You just need to leave the key somewhere I can find it — a lockbox, a neighbour, under the mat. I'll text when I arrive and when I'm done. Most clients are at work for the whole cook.
That is literally the brief. The more detail you give me — 'my son hates anything green', 'my wife is coeliac', 'we don't do anything too spicy' — the better the food gets. I work with picky households all the time. Tell me everything.
Yes, and I prefer it when clients bring a plan. Send it through before the call. I'll cook to it exactly, and I'm happy to liaise with your nutritionist or dietitian directly if that's helpful.
I take on a small number of families each term, and there's usually a two-to-four-week wait. The best time to enquire is now, even if you don't need to start straight away. I'll let you know when a slot opens.
Every container is labelled with who can and can't eat it. I carry a full allergen audit for each household and I use dedicated boards for coeliac or severe allergy households. Tell me everything at the first call — no allergy is too complex or too 'difficult'.
I order groceries delivered to your door the day before the cook. If you have a certain supplier you normally get your produce from we can discuss this on the initial call. If they offer delivery or pick up on the way to your home, this can be arranged. You pay for the ingredients at cost, with no markup from me. I send through an ingredients list before the cook so you can cross off any items you might already have at home to cut down on the grocery bill.
If you prefer sourcing ingredients yourself, of course this is possible too!
No, and no. I cook in your kitchen. The food is fully cooked and ready — not components to assemble, not instructions to follow. It is not a subscription box. It is a person who comes to your house and makes real food. The difference matters.
I'm based on the Redcliffe Peninsula and serve Northern Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast. If you're outside these areas, ask anyway — I occasionally work further afield for the right household.
Yes. Catering for events and dinner parties is available separately from the weekly service. Enquire via the contact page and describe what you have in mind — guest count, occasion, any dietary notes.
No forms to fill. No obligation. I reply within two days.
